Buy RS3 Fish mask
Description
The Fish Mask is a discontinued cosmetic item in RuneScape 3. It first appeared as a prize from the Squeal of Fortune and was removed on 28 September 2012. It was the first tradeable cosmetic item from the Squeal of Fortune and the first new discontinued rare item since RuneScape Classic. Because no new fish masks enter the game, discontinued items like this one tend to rise in value over time.
The mask is worn in the head slot. It has no stat requirements, no armour value, and no combat bonuses. It is purely for looks and fun.
The Fish Mask lets you fish for compliments in a very real way. When you fish while wearing it, the mask says nice things about you. These compliments show up as chat above the fishing spot, so other players can see them too. One line, "You're gonna need a bigger inventory," is a nod to the movie Jaws.
You can also right-click the mask while wearing it and pick "blow bubbles." Your character blows bubbles for 2 seconds. This works while walking, running, teleporting, fishing, or cooking. It is a great pick for collectors and players who love rare cosmetics.
