Description

The Fremennik yak (unchecked) is an animal for the player-owned farm in RuneScape 3. It is the unchecked version of a Fremennik yak. You need level 71 Farming to check it, and this level cannot be boosted or assisted. Checking the yak shows you what traits it has.

Once the yak is on your farm, you can gather produce from it. Possible yields include yak milk, yak tuft, yak-hide, and rarely hair. This makes it a useful animal for players who want to grow their farm.

In the game, this item drops from yaks on Neitiznot at a rate of 1 in 3,000. The drop appears as a baby yak that makes a baroo-ing sound. When you adopt it, the unchecked yak goes into your backpack. Adopting a baby yak also completes the achievement called Barooooo!

The unchecked Fremennik yak is tradeable, so you can buy one instead of hunting for the rare drop. It is not equipable and not stackable. It is always lost on death, and a destroyed animal cannot be reclaimed. The item was added to the game on 3 September 2018.
