The glaiven wing-tip is a rare drop in RuneScape 3. It comes from rune dragons and from monsters in the Dragonkin Laboratory. It is a wing-tip taken from a rune dragon.

This item has one main use. Attach two glaiven wing-tips to a pair of glaiven boots to make tier 90 flarefrost boots. Flarefrost boots are strong footwear for high level combat. The upgrade cannot be undone, so the boots only change back through wear from combat.

Getting a wing-tip on your own is not easy. Rune dragons only drop it while you are on a Slayer task that counts for them. Elite rune dragons can drop it at any time, but the odds are still low, around 1 in 588. Buying a glaiven wing-tip skips those long kill counts.

The item is members-only, tradeable, and noteable. It weighs 0.05 kg. It can also be disassembled, and it mostly gives Simple parts with a small chance of Variable components.
