Description

The godsword blade is the main part of a godsword in RuneScape 3. It is made by joining godsword shards 1, 2, and 3 at an anvil. This takes level 80 Smithing and gives 100 Smithing experience. Once the blade is done, it can be joined with a hilt to make a full godsword.

There are four hilts, and each one comes from the God Wars Dungeon. The blade can become the Armadyl godsword, Bandos godsword, Saradomin godsword, or Zamorak godsword. Attaching or removing a hilt needs no Smithing level, and it can be done at any time. Swapping the hilt changes the special attack and the look of the sword, but the combat bonuses stay the same.

Godswords are strong two-handed swords that need 75 Attack to wield. They are some of the best non-degradable melee weapons outside Daemonheim, so the blade is a key item for any melee build.

The godsword blade is members-only, tradeable, and noteable. It weighs 7.5 kg. It can also be disassembled for base parts, blade parts, metallic parts, sharp components, and strong components.
