Players catch gourmet implings in Puro-Puro or across Gielinor with level 28 Hunter and an empty impling jar. This jar is a members-only item that is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs 2.267 kg.

Opening the jar frees the impling and leaves food loot behind. Possible rewards include shark, lobster, swordfish, rainbow fish, cooked karambwan, fish pie, garden pie, chocolate cake, curry, tuna, bass, meat pie, ugthanki kebab, chef's delight, strawberries, spice, curry leaf, and frog spawn. Many of these come noted. The average loot from one jar is worth about 4,766 coins, so it is a simple way to stock up on food or make some money.

The jar can also be traded to Elnock Inquisitor. One jar gets you 3 empty impling jars. Three gourmet impling jars, two earth impling jars, and one essence impling jar can be traded for a magic butterfly net. One gourmet jar with three baby impling jars and two young impling jars gets a vial of imp repellent.
