Description

The Greater Barge ability codex is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. Read it to unlock the Greater Barge ability. Reading it needs 35 Attack, and it destroys the codex. The ability itself needs 65 Attack to use, but you do not need that level to unlock it.

Greater Barge is a stronger version of the Barge ability, and it replaces the old one. It is a Basic Melee ability that works on a single target. Your player runs up to 10 tiles and rams the target, dealing 75% to 95% melee damage. It gives +9% adrenaline, clears the Bound debuff from you, and binds the target for 6.6 seconds.

The damage grows the longer you wait between attacks. It can reach 125% to 165% ability damage after 6 seconds. Used as an opening move out of combat, it hits at that top range right away. It can also grant the Endless Assault buff, which turns your next melee channeled ability into damage over time.

This codex normally drops from the black stone dragon in the Dragonkin Laboratory. It is tradeable and noteable, so this is a fast way to get a key melee upgrade.
