Description

The Greater Concentrated Blast ability codex is a rare RuneScape 3 item that unlocks the Greater Concentrated Blast ability. Reading the codex requires level 66 Magic and destroys the codex. It is a members-only item and it is a rare drop from Kerapac, the bound.

Greater Concentrated Blast replaces the standard Concentrated Blast ability. It is a Basic, channelled, single-target Magic ability that works with any Magic gear. It hits 3 times over 1.8 seconds and deals 40 to 50 percent Magic damage per hit. That adds up to 120 to 150 percent ability damage in total, with an average of 135 percent. It also builds 9 percent Adrenaline and has a 5.4 second cooldown.

Each hit raises the Critical Strike Chance of the next Magic attack by 7 percent, up to 21 percent. This bonus even boosts the ability itself, so the second and third hits crit more often. The buff applies to the next full ability, which makes multi-hit abilities much stronger.

This codex is a strong upgrade for any mage who wants more damage and more critical strikes. It is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to move in-game.
