Before it can be used, the herb must be cleaned. Cleaning it takes level 91 Herblore and gives 16.8 Herblore experience. The clean fellstalk is the key herb for making prayer renewal potions. It is also a material used in elder overload potions. With level 91 Firemaking, clean fellstalk can be used to make fellstalk incense sticks.
Grimy fellstalk is tradeable and can be stored as a note in the bank. Players can also keep up to 50 in a herb bag, or up to 100 in the upgraded herb bag. It can be disassembled for Invention. Disassembly gives 2.7 experience and has no junk chance. It mostly gives Organic parts, with small chances for Crafted parts, Enhancing components, Healthy components, and Living components.
