Description
The Guam seed is a Farming seed in RuneScape 3. Plant it in a herb patch to grow grimy guams. You need level 9 Farming to plant it, so it is a great pick for players just starting to train the skill.
Each planting uses one seed and gives 11 Farming XP. The herb takes 80 minutes to grow, with four stages of 20 minutes each. When the herb is fully grown, you can harvest it for 12.5 XP per herb. Each patch has at least 3 harvest lives, and better compost or plant power can add more. Using any type of compost also lowers the chance that the patch gets diseased and dies. Note that a nearby gardener will not watch over a growing guam.
The crop farmer outfit and master farmer outfit each give a small chance to save a harvest life that would be lost. The Guam seed is tradeable and stackable, and it weighs nothing. It can also be disassembled, giving mostly Organic parts and rarely Living components. This seed is a simple, low level way to earn steady Farming XP in RS3.
