Buy RS3 Hook-a-duck flail token
Description
The Hook-a-duck flail token is a fun reward item from the 2018 Spring Fayre in RuneScape 3. When you activate the token, it unlocks the Hook-a-duck flail cosmetic override. The game asks you to confirm first, then the token is used up.
The Hook-a-duck flail is a cosmetic override for the whip weapon slot. It changes how your whip looks. It is a members-only override, and it does not show in PvP-enabled areas. It cannot be recoloured.
The token itself is tradeable and stackable. It weighs nothing, so it will not slow you down. It is always kept on death. It cannot be equipped, disassembled, or noted. The token is a free-to-play item and is not tied to any quest. Its item ID is 42420.
The token first came out on 26 March 2018 during the Spring Fayre event at Lumbridge Crater. Players could get it there through skilling, Rixie's shop, and the cosmetics stall. The flail override also came back during Easter events in 2025 and 2026. This token is a nice pick for players who want a rare and playful look for their whip.
