Description

Irit incense sticks are members-only items in RuneScape 3 that protect you from poison. When you burn them, each potency level cuts poison damage by 25%. At level 4 potency, poison damage is reduced by 100%. This makes them very useful for fights and areas where poison is a threat.

Potency rises by one level every 10 minutes, up to level 4. If you do not want to wait, you can use the overload option on a stack of sticks. Overloading uses six sticks and gives you max potency right away. Each stick burned lasts 10 minutes, and you can extend the timer up to 60 minutes by burning more of the same type.

You need level 40 Firemaking to make these sticks and only level 1 Firemaking to use them. They are made by adding a clean irit to accursed maple incense sticks. At level 71 Firemaking you can have two incense types active at once, and at level 95 you can have three.

Irit incense sticks are tradeable and stackable, and they weigh nothing. They can also be disassembled for Invention materials like Organic parts and Simple parts.
