Description

Iron fire arrows (lit) are members-only ranged ammo in RuneScape 3. They are made by using a damp cloth on regular iron arrows, then lighting the unlit arrows on a fire. You need partial completion of the Underground Pass quest to make them.

These arrows matter most in the Underground Pass quest. A lit fire arrow can pierce a rope in the Underground Pass dungeon. This lowers a bridge and lets you enter the pass maze. You cannot finish the quest without this step. Lit fire arrows can also set mummies on fire inside the Jaldraocht Pyramid.

In combat, iron fire arrows work like normal iron arrows. The fire adds no extra damage. They need level 10 Ranged to use and are tier 10 weapons. They have 96.0 ability damage and a max hit of 144. They are stackable, tradeable, and equipable, and they weigh nothing.

You can also disassemble them for Invention. Each action uses 50 arrows and has a base junk chance of 94.5 percent. Possible materials include Stave parts, Head parts, Crafted parts, and Precise components. Grab a stack of lit iron fire arrows and get through the Underground Pass with ease.
