Description
The Lava battlestaff is a members-only staff in RuneScape 3. It needs level 30 Magic to wield. When you hold it, you get an unlimited supply of earth and fire runes. This saves inventory space and cuts down on rune costs. It was the first hybrid elemental staff added to the game.
Earth and fire runes are used together in the Enchant Level 6 Jewellery, Prism of Dowsing, and Crystal Mask spells. The staff is a tier 30 magic weapon with 454 accuracy, a spell-casting style, and an attack range of 8.
The Lava battlestaff can grow with you. After the Scorpion Catcher quest, Thormac can upgrade it to a mystic lava staff for 40,000 coins. The price drops to 27,000 coins if you finish the Seers' Village hard achievements. With 85 Crafting, players can also attach a shade skull to the staff to make a new version.
This staff normally drops from monsters like the Kalphite Queen, aberrant spectres, and infernal mages. Buying one means you can skip the grind and start casting right away.
