Description

Mead is a drink in RuneScape 3. It is a sweet ale made from honey. When you drink it, mead heals 160 life points. It also boosts your Agility skill by 1 level plus 1 percent. It lowers your Defence skill by 2 levels plus 2 percent for a short time.

Mead is tradeable and stacks when noted. You can also disassemble it. If you die outside a dangerous area, mead is always kept. This makes it a safe item to carry.

Players can make mead with level 16 Cooking at a Brewery. Brewing takes 5 game ticks, which is 3 seconds. You need 2 buckets of water, 4 honeycomb, and 1 ale yeast. Brewing gives 199 Cooking experience in total. You get 9 experience when you brew it in the fermenting vat and 190 experience when you drain the vat. Mead can also be bought at the Burnt Lobster Tavern.
