The RS3 mechanised chinchompa is a high-level thrown weapon made with the Invention skill. It needs level 75 Ranged to use. Each throw sets off an explosion that can hit up to 9 enemies in a 3x3 area around your target. This makes it one of the best picks for fights with lots of monsters at once.

The area damage deals 90 to 110 percent of your ability damage to nearby enemies. This is why players bring mechanised chinchompas to places like Elite Dungeons, Barrows: Rise of the Six, and the Arch-Glacor. They beat single-target weapons when many enemies are grouped together.

The weapon is tier 75, but its damage is close to a tier 81 weapon. It has an accuracy of 1,694, a range of 9, and a fast attack speed. Damage over time effects also spread to all targets in the blast area.
