This salvage is worth 720 coins with high level alchemy. That makes it an easy way to turn drops into gold. It is not stackable and weighs 0.2 kg.
Players who train Invention can disassemble it for parts. It gives 9 materials from the bladed salvage group. Most of these are base parts, blade parts, and metallic parts. There is also a small chance to get dextrous, sharp, or subtle components. Each disassembly gives 0.6 XP.
If you own a spring cleaner 2000 or higher, it can alchemise this salvage on the spot when a monster drops it. A spring cleaner 3000 or higher can disassemble it for free instead.
Medium bladed steel salvage replaced the steel 2h sword and steel battleaxe on monster drop tables. It can also be bought from Elof for 30 steel item tokens. It was added to the game on 7 January 2019.
