Mithril grapple
undefined
The mithril grapple is a handy item in RuneScape 3. It is a mithril bolt with a grapple tip and a rope attached. You wear it in your arrows slot and fire it with any crossbow or salamander. This includes the Dorgeshuun crossbow, Zanik's crossbow, and off-hand crossbows.
Players use the mithril grapple to cross Agility shortcuts. You can grapple over the Falador wall, the Yanille wall, and the River Lum between Lumbridge Swamp and Al Kharid. It also works at the Catherby cliff, on Karamja, near Castle Wars, and on the Bandos and Dorgesh-Kaan Agility Courses. Each spot needs certain Ranged, Agility, and Strength levels. The hardest spot is the Prifddinas Waterfall Fishing cliff, which needs level 90 in all three skills.
A grapple can break after use, so it is smart to carry more than one. Some grapple spots have a hidey-hole where you can store a spare. You can also use a mithril grapple to craft an enhanced grappling hook for your tool belt.
The item is tradeable, equipable, and noteable. It can also be disassembled, and it weighs almost nothing at 0.001 kg.
