Description
The moonstone ring is a members-only ring in RuneScape 3. It fits in the ring slot and is a piece of moonstone jewellery. It is tradeable, so any player can own one without crafting it. The ring has no combat stats and no level is needed to wear it.
The main reason players want this ring is what it can become. With the Lvl-5 Enchant spell at level 68 Magic, it turns into a ring of imbuing. A Lvl-5 enchant tablet also works and has no level requirement. The ring can also be combined with a Fang of Kayazu at an Archaeologist's workbench to make a Ring of Kayazu. That upgrade needs level 88 Archaeology and 67 Crafting.
Crafting the ring takes level 67 Crafting, a moonstone, an ensouled bar, and a ring mould at a furnace. Players must first learn moonstone jewellery from the Former Master Crafter in the City of Um. Since the ensouled bar is untradable and needs level 60 Necromancy or a shop visit to get, buying the ring outright saves time and effort.
The ring can also be disassembled for parts, or high alched for 36,000 coins.
