The Morchella mushroom spore is a Farming seed in RuneScape 3. You plant it in a mushroom patch. There are patches in Canifis, Um, and Isafdar. You need level 74 Farming to grow it.

Planting a spore gives 160 Farming experience. Each mushroom you pick gives 77.7 experience. One harvest gives 9 mushrooms. With the Elite Morytania achievements done, you get 18 instead. The mushrooms take 4 hours to grow and do not need water.

Morchella mushrooms have good uses. With 94 Herblore, they are used to make prayer renewal potions. These potions help restore prayer points over time. You can also give 25 mushrooms to a farmer as payment. The farmer will then watch over an elder sapling for you.

No gardener protects the mushroom patches while they grow. But after the medium Morytania achievements, the Canifis patch will not get diseased. After the hard Underworld achievements, the Um patch will not get diseased. The Isafdar patch needs the medium Tirannwn achievements to use, and it can still get diseased.
