Description
The Nodon spike harness is a melee item for RuneScape 3. It goes in the ammo slot and needs level 90 Melee to wear. It gives a melee damage bonus of 24.1, and it is the only ammo slot item in the game with a melee damage bonus.
The harness holds armour spikes of one type. Spikes only work while the harness is worn. If you die and keep or get back the harness, no spikes are lost from it.
The harness has a passive effect called Karmic Retribution. It turns on after you wear it for 5.4 seconds. It boosts your armour spike damage based on the melee damage bonus of your power armour in the helm, chest, leg, glove, and boot slots. The boost starts at 65% of that bonus. It jumps to 115% when your life points drop below 60% of your max. With top gear like vestments of havoc and primal abyssal spikes, spikes can hit for 248 damage, or 324 at low health.
The harness is a possible reward from the Asuran Arsenal. It is tradeable and can be noted. In unsafe PvP, it is lost on death.
