The 'o'-lantern' title scroll is a rare Halloween item in RuneScape 3. Reading the scroll unlocks the o'-lantern title. It shows next to your name as "[Name] o'-lantern". It is a fun way to show off Halloween spirit all year long.
This scroll came from the 2023 Halloween event. Players could get it by smashing pumpkins or from the Grim Harvest promotion on Treasure Hunter. It was also sold by Reynold at the Harvest Boon shop in Harvest Hollow during Halloween events. It came back during the Harvest Boon event in October 2024.
The scroll is tradeable, so any player can own one. When you read it, a prompt asks you to confirm. Then the scroll is destroyed and the title is yours to keep. The scroll is always kept on death, so there is no risk of losing it before you use it.
The title even changes with the server language. In German it reads Kürbislaterne, in French it is la Citrouille-lanterne, and in Portuguese it is da Lanterna de Abóbora. This scroll is a great pick for players who collect rare titles and holiday items.
