Description

The oak frame is a Construction material in RuneScape 3. It is a structural frame for a building made from refined oak planks. Players use it to build some Tier 1 buildings at Fort Forinthry.

Each oak frame adds 540 base experience to a building. It also adds 20 base batches of progress. You need 10 oak frames and 6 stone wall segments to build the Tier 1 Town Hall, which needs level 10 Construction and gives 5,400 experience. The Tier 1 Chapel needs the same materials, requires level 15 Construction, and gives 4,320 experience.

Making one oak frame takes three refined oak planks at the woodworking bench in Fort Forinthry. This needs level 10 Construction and gives 81 experience. Each frame takes 7.2 seconds to make.

The oak frame is a members-only item. It is tradeable and noteable, but it does not stack. It weighs 0.8 kg. It can also be disassembled for 1.5 Invention experience, giving Simple parts most of the time and Variable components on rare occasions. With oak frames ready to go, players can skip the plank work and start building at the fort right away.
