Description
The Oil of enchantment is an item in RuneScape 3. Players use it to recharge two items, the Sceptre of Enchantment and the Coin of Enchantment. Each vial of oil adds one charge to one of these items.
The oil is useful for players who like the Coin of Enchantment. Flipping the coin gives a Valentine's Flip buff. This buff grants a 2% experience boost for 24 hours. Nearby players also get a 1% experience boost that lasts two hours. Each flip uses one charge, and the coin starts with ten charges. When the charges run out, the oil of enchantment brings them back, one charge per vial.
The oil of enchantment is a members-free item. It is tradeable and stackable, so players can hold many vials in one bank or inventory slot. It cannot be equipped and cannot be disassembled. It weighs nothing, so it never slows a player down.
The item first came from the Gifts from the Heart event, where players won it in sets of five. It was added to the game on 7 February 2022. Players who want to keep their experience boosts active will want a good stock of this oil.
