Description
Orgone is an Archaeology material in RuneScape 3. It is a members-only item. It is a strange, smooth stone that is black at its core with rainbow speckles.
Players need level 73 Archaeology to dig up orgone. It comes from material caches and excavation sites at the Orthen Dig Site. Caches are found at the Anachronia west site, the Moksha ritual site, and the Xolo city site. Some sites need higher levels or quests to enter. A higher Archaeology level and a better mattock let players gather orgone faster. It can be kept in the material storage container.
Orgone matters because it restores many artefacts at the Archaeologist's workbench. These include the Castle gatestone, Death mask, Dragonkin calendar, Dragonkin staff, Lingam stone, Meditation pipe, Singing bowl, Xolo pickaxe, Xolo shield, and Xolo spear. Players who want to level Archaeology or finish artefact collections often need large amounts of it.
Orgone can also be disassembled for Invention. It gives Delicate parts, Organic parts, Crafted parts, Enhancing components, and Healthy components. It has a special chance to give Historic or Classic components. Buying orgone saves hours of digging time.
