Orthenglass is an Archaeology material in RuneScape 3. Its examine text calls it crystallised dragon breath. It is named after Orthen, the lost city of the dragonkin. You need level 20 Archaeology to obtain and use it. The item is tradeable and members only.

Orthenglass is used to restore many artefacts. These include the Hookah pipe, Dragonkin tablet, Golem heart, Orthenglass flask, and Spherical astrolabe. Some artefacts need a lot of it. The Orthenglass flask takes 60 and the Spherical astrolabe takes 48. You also need 20 Orthenglass to activate the third Orthen teleportation device at the Moksha ritual site on Anachronia. The quest Desperate Measures requires 100 Orthenglass.

Players normally get Orthenglass by digging at material caches and excavation hotspots. The caches sit at the Anachronia north excavation site, far from any bank. Gathering it by hand takes time, and higher level hotspots like Chthonian trophies need level 110. Buying Orthenglass skips the long digging trips.
