The RS3 Portable Range is a portable skilling station that works as a range when you set it down. You can place it anywhere you can light a fire. Other players can see it and use it too.
Food cooked on a portable range gives up to 21% more Cooking experience. That is the biggest boost of any portable skilling station. There is also a 5% chance to double the food you cook. The extra food goes straight to your bank. If your bank is full, the extra food is dropped. Doubled food does not give experience. Wearing a Brooch of the Gods doubles the chance of the doubling effect. Portable ranges also help you fill urns faster.
The range vanishes after five minutes. You can add more portables to make it last longer. Each one adds five minutes, up to 60 minutes total. After that, you need to place a new one.
The portable range is stackable and tradeable. It weighs nothing and is always kept on death. It is a great pick for players who want fast Cooking training and extra food in RuneScape 3.
