Description
The Ragefire gland is a rare drop in RuneScape 3. It is the fire gland of a rune dragon. This members-only item has one main use. Two glands are needed to upgrade a pair of ragefire boots into tier 90 hailfire boots. This upgrade cannot be undone. The boots can only go back down by wearing out in combat.
Getting a gland on your own is hard. Rune dragons only drop it while you are on a Slayer task that counts for them. Elite rune dragons can drop it at any time, but the drop rate is still rare. Some bosses and monsters in the Shadow Reef can drop it too.
The gland is light at 0.05 kg. It is tradeable and can be noted, so it is easy to move and store. It can also be disassembled for Simple parts or, on rare occasions, Variable components.
Players who want hailfire boots need this item. Hailfire boots are strong tier 90 gear for magic users. Buying a Ragefire gland saves hours of grinding rare drops and lets players finish their boot upgrade right away.
