Ranarr incense sticks are a members only item in RuneScape 3. They give a Prayer bonus when you light them. You need level 25 Firemaking to make and use them. Each stick is made by adding a clean ranarr herb to an impious oak incense stick.

When you light a stick, the buff starts at potency level 1. This gives a +1 Prayer bonus. The potency goes up by 1 every ten minutes. At level 4 you get the full +4 Prayer bonus. You can also burn six sticks at once to overload. This jumps straight to the max bonus for ten minutes.

Each stick adds ten minutes to the timer. You can stack the buff up to one hour, so the sticks do not take up inventory space during a fight. The timer does not go down while you are logged out, and the buff stays after death.

These sticks save the most prayer points at high drain rates. They also make prayer potions last longer. That makes them a strong pick for long boss fights and Slayer tasks. The item is tradeable, stackable, and weighs nothing.
