The Roar of Awakening is a tier 95 main-hand magic weapon in RuneScape 3. It is the wand of Nakatra, Devourer Eternal, and drops as a reward from her fight in the Sanctum of Rebirth. You need level 95 Magic to wield it. It has 912 ability damage, 2765 accuracy, and a range of 8.
Its special attack, Soulfire, costs 35% adrenaline. It hits the target once, then burns them with six more hits over time. In total it can deal up to 1,360% ability damage over 10.8 seconds. It is the only one-handed magic weapon with a special attack.
Pair it with the Ode to Deceit to unlock the Song of Destruction set bonus. This boosts damage over time abilities like Combust and Corruption Blast by 30% and builds Essence Corruption stacks that raise your magic damage even more.
The wand does not degrade in its standard state. It can be augmented, and it can be enchanted to tier 100 with a Shard of Genesis Essence. One shard enchants both the Roar of Awakening and the Ode to Deceit. It can also be dyed with high-level dyes.
