Description

Rock-shell boots are a members-only pair of Fremennik boots in RuneScape 3. They are made from the shards of a rock crab's shell. To wear them, a player needs 50 Defence and must finish The Fremennik Trials quest.

The boots are tier 50 melee power armour and go in the feet slot. They give a nice boost to melee damage, which makes them a solid pick for mid-level warriors. They cannot be made with the Smithing skill. Players can get them as a drop from Giant Rock Crabs.

These boots are part of the Rock-shell armour set. A player needs them to combine the full set or to store it in a Costume room. Wearing them is not required to earn a Fremennik honorific from the Fremennik Tasks.

Players who want more power can upgrade the boots into superior rock-shell boots with a Fremennik equipment patch. The boots can also be taken apart with Invention, giving mostly Cover parts, Deflecting parts, and Plated parts, with a small chance of Strong or Protective components.
