Description
The ruby ring is a jewellery item in RuneScape 3. It is made from one gold bar and one ruby, using a ring mould at a furnace. Crafting it needs level 34 Crafting and gives 70 experience. The ring is light at 0.006 kg. It has no combat stats and no armour, damage, accuracy, or defence bonuses.
The real value of this ring comes from what it can become. Members can enchant it with the Lvl-3 Enchant spell to turn it into a Ring of Forging. It can also be imbued at Soul Wars by Zimberfizz or Zanik for 5 zeal, which makes it a ruby ring (i).
The ruby ring has other uses too. Players can trade one ruby ring for a pair of swanky boots after destroying 12 pairs of the boots. The ring is equipable, tradeable, noteable, and can be disassembled for Invention parts.
In the game, Irksol sells ruby rings in the Zanaris market, and Grum's Gold Exchange in Port Sarim buys them. A Magpie familiar can also produce one at random. Buying a ruby ring saves the time it takes to craft or hunt for one.
