The Santa costume gloves (green) are a cosmetic item in RuneScape 3. They are a green version of the classic Santa costume gloves from the 2008 Christmas event. This green variant came out on 23 December 2022 as a prize from the Treasure Hunter promotion called Santa's Grotto.
These gloves fit in the hands slot. Any player can wear them, since they are free to members and there are no combat requirements. They are a cosmetic item only, so they give no damage, accuracy, armour, or defensive bonuses. Their examine text says "Some green and jolly gloves."
The gloves are tradeable and can be turned into a bank note. They are always kept on death, so there is no risk of losing them in combat. Players who use Invention can also disassemble them. They count as Clothing and give 0.3 disassembly XP, with possible materials like Cover parts, Simple parts, Padded parts, and Variable components.
