Description

The Scentless potion (4) is a members-only potion in RuneScape 3. This vial holds 4 doses. While the potion is active, every trap you set works as if it had been smoked with a torch. This is a big help for Hunter training since you can skip smoking your traps by hand.

Each dose lasts for 6 minutes. The game sends a chat message about 35 seconds before the effect ends, and another message when it wears off. That way you always know when to sip another dose.

Making this potion yourself takes work. It needs level 59 Herblore, a juju vial of water, a clean argway herb, and a shadow vine. The shadow vine comes from shadow jadinkos, which need level 71 Hunter to catch. All the ingredients come from the Herblore Habitat. Buying the potion lets you skip all of that.

The potion has other uses too. Adding harmony moss to a 3-dose vial makes a perfect juju agility potion. You can also combine at least six doses with a potion flask to make a scentless potion flask. The potion became tradeable on 10 November 2014.
