Description
The RS3 Shadow Gem Crown token unlocks the Shadow Gem Crown cosmetic override in RuneScape 3. The crown is a head override that looks like a beautiful crown set with dark gems. It does not take up an equipment slot, so it works over any headgear your character wears. It will not show in PvP-enabled areas and cannot be recolored.
To get the look, redeem the token. This destroys the token and adds the Shadow Gem Crown to your cosmetic overrides for good. The token itself is stackable, tradeable, and weighs nothing, so it is easy to keep in your bank or inventory. It cannot be equipped, alchemised, noted, or disassembled. It has a value of 5,000,000 coins. Outside the Wilderness, the token is always kept on death, so it stays safe if your character dies.
The token first appeared on 13 September 2018 as a Treasure Hunter reward during the Crystal Capsules promotion. It became bankable a few days later on 17 September 2018. This token is a simple way to add a rare, dark, and stylish crown to your RS3 character's look.
