Description

The Spicati apoterrasaur (unchecked) is a members-only dinosaur item in RuneScape 3. It is tradeable and noteable. When you check it, you can see the animal's traits and use it on your Anachronia Dinosaur Farm. Once you release the animal, you cannot get it back.

The spicati apoterrasaur lives in large pens on the farm. It needs Farming level 108. It eats raw meat and produces beak snot and muck. There are four breeds: the standard breed, tilia, purpura, and the shiny lucidum. Every breed produces 50 beak snot. You can get the shiny breed through breeding, and the Sparkling, Glistening, and Radiant traits boost your chance.

Keeping spicati apoterrasaurs gives the Butterfly Effect perk. This gives a small chance to spawn a Guthixian butterfly when you gather produce from your farm animals. The tier 2 effect makes this chance higher.

Checking the animal also gives Farming XP. A child gives 13,000 XP, and an elder gives 58,500 XP. The breeding cycle is 20 hours with an 80% success chance. This item is rare in the game, so buying one saves you a long hunt.
