Description

Spiky vambraces are leather armour worn on the hands in RuneScape 3. Low-level rangers use them in place of plain leather vambraces. They belong to the Ranged class and count as power armour, so they add damage while you fight. They give a +1 Ranged bonus over regular leather vambraces, which makes them a simple upgrade for new rangers.

These vambraces have no combat level requirement, so any player can wear them. They are a members-only item. They are tradeable, equipable, and noteable, and they weigh only 0.226 kg.

To make spiky vambraces yourself, use kebbit claws on a pair of leather vambraces. This needs level 32 Crafting and grants 5.8 Crafting experience. Each pair takes one leather vambraces and one kebbit claws.

You can also disassemble spiky vambraces for Invention. Each one gives 1.5 disassembly experience. Possible materials are Cover parts, Padded parts, Tensile parts, Evasive components, and Protective components. The base junk chance is 94.5%.
