Description

The RS3 Spirit yak (unchecked) is a rare farm animal for the player-owned farm in RuneScape 3. It is a members only item. You need level 71 Farming to check it, and this level cannot be boosted or assisted. When you check the yak, you can see what traits it has.

Spirit yaks are very hard to get on your own. Making pack yak pouches only gives you a 1 in 5,000 chance per pouch. Buying one saves you from that long grind. You can also breed spirit yaks from any yaks at the player-owned farm.

Spirit yaks live in a large pen at Manor Farm. They eat flowers, fruits, and vegetables. Each yak always produces one yak-hide and two yak tufts. They do not produce muck, and female spirit yaks do not give yak milk. Their breeding cycle is 6 hours and 40 minutes, with a 60 percent breeding success chance.

Checking a spirit yak also gives good Farming XP. A child gives 6,500 XP, an adolescent gives 11,375 XP, and an adult gives 14,625 XP. This item is tradeable and weighs almost nothing.
