Split logs are a members-only item in RuneScape 3. Players make them by using arctic pine logs on a woodcutting stump. You need level 54 Woodcutting to split the logs, and each one gives 42.5 Woodcutting experience.
Split logs are needed to repair the bridges in the quest The Fremennik Isles. If you are working on this quest, having a stack of split logs ready can save you time. Besides the quest and Woodcutting training, the logs have no other use.
If your backpack gets full, you can drop off split logs at the pile of logs north of the south-western-most bridge in Neitiznot. This frees up space so you can keep working. Splitting a full inventory of arctic pine logs takes about 1 minute and 25 seconds.
