Springs are tradeable items in RuneScape 3 that charge the spring cleaner. Each spring gives the spring cleaner one charge. The spring cleaner can hold up to 250,000 charges at one time. Once a spring is added to the spring cleaner, it cannot be taken back out.

Springs are stackable and weigh 0 kg, so they take up little space in your inventory. They cannot be equipped, noted, alchemised, or disassembled. They are always lost on death and do not drop to gravestones, so it is smart to load them into your spring cleaner instead of carrying them around.

Players want springs because a charged spring cleaner saves time. It cleans up drops you do not want, so you spend less time managing loot and more time playing. If you use your spring cleaner often, you will need a steady supply of springs to keep it charged.

Springs were released on 27 June 2014 and have the item ID 31613. They are available to both members and free-to-play players, so any RS3 account can use them.
