Strange fruit is an RS3 item that helps players stay on the move. When you eat it, it restores 60% of your run energy. It also cures poison if you are poisoned. This makes it a handy backup for antipoison items.

Strange fruit grows on strange plants found around Karamja. It can also be dropped by the Chaos Elemental and found on stranger plants. When eaten, the game says it tastes great and some of your run energy is restored.

This fruit is useful in some well known quests. In the last stage of Desert Treasure, it can replace antipoisons while you run through the pyramid. In Monkey Madness, it helps when you run to Zooknock to get a monkey greegree.

Strange fruit was added to the game on 2 February 2004. It was once a reward from a Random Event that was removed in 2009. Since 9 October 2017, players can get and eat strange fruit in free worlds. It is a simple item that saves inventory space by curing poison and restoring run energy at the same time.
