Description
The RS3 Stratus Cloud Token is a tradeable item in RuneScape 3. It first came out on 24 November 2022 as a reward from the Solstice Showdown Treasure Hunter promotion. It can also drop from Santa's Christmas Presents during the 2025 Christmas event. The token is stackable and is not a members-only item.
When a player redeems the token, it unlocks the Stratus Cloud. The token is destroyed when this happens. Redeeming it needs no skills or experience, so any player can use it.
The Stratus Cloud is a two-handed item that a player can wear. When it is wielded and unsheathed, it changes the player's idle, walking, and running animations. It gives no combat stats and stops the player from attacking while it is held. It weighs 1 kg and has no combat requirements.
The cloud is not tradeable once unlocked, but it is easy to get back. If a player dies, they can reclaim it from Diango in Draynor or through the bank interface. The item may be a nod to the cloud somersault, a skill used by Sun Wukong in Journey to the West.
