Description
The tree-shaking scrimshaw is a pocket item in RuneScape 3 that helps you find more loot while you chop trees. You need level 80 Woodcutting to equip it. When worn, it raises your chance of finding bird's nests by 300%. This also works on crystal geodes when you chop crystal trees.
The scrimshaw can also disturb implings while you cut wood. These range from essence implings, which are very common, up to crystal implings. Crystal implings only appear in the Crwys clan area while the Voice of Seren is active there. Each impling lasts five minutes before it despawns, and only the wearer can see it.
You can turn the scrimshaw on and off. It lasts for a total of three hours of use before it turns to dust. You can combine scrimshaws of the same type to store up to 24 hours in one item. An overcharged scrimshaw can also be split back into three hour scrimshaws.
The item is tradeable and noteable. It is a smart pick for anyone training Woodcutting who wants more nests, geodes, and implings from every chopping session.
