The trimmed masterwork melee helm is a tier 92 melee power armour helm in RuneScape 3. You need level 92 Defence to wear it. It gives 457.4 armour, a damage bonus of 23.0, and a Prayer bonus of 2. In PvP it also cuts damage by 1.725%.

This helm is part of the trimmed masterwork armour set. The set has a strong bonus. When you wear three or more pieces, 10% of incoming damage per piece is delayed and dealt over the next 6 seconds. With all five pieces, that is 50% of the damage. This makes big hits easier to survive and helps you heal through them. The set effect also works in PvP.

The helm degrades over 100,000 charges of combat. It can be repaired with an unused untrimmed masterwork helm, which is used up in the process. It does not lose charges inside Elite Dungeons or the Sanctum of Rebirth.

Making this helm yourself takes level 99 Smithing, two masterwork armour trims, a masterwork helm, and the quest It Should Have Been Called Aetherium. Buying it lets you skip all that work and gear up fast for high level melee combat.
