Description
Verac's flail is a tier 70 melee weapon in RuneScape 3. It is part of Verac the Defiled's Barrows set. You need level 70 Attack to use it. The flail uses the crush style and gives a prayer bonus of 2. It looks like a one-handed weapon, but it takes both hands, so you cannot use an off-hand item with it.
The flail gets stronger when you wear the full Verac's set. Your attacks then have a 20% chance to deal about 14% more damage. The set also keeps its old effect, so you can hit certain monsters at full damage even when they use Protect from Melee. This works on foes like Akrisae the Doomed and the Kalphite Queen.
The flail degrades as you fight. It lasts for 100,000 charges of combat and works at full power until it breaks. You can repair it at repair NPCs or on an armour stand in a player-owned house. It can only be traded when it is fully repaired or fully broken. A fully charged flail can also be combined with a corruption sigil to make a corrupted defender.
