Description

Verac's helm is a melee helmet from Verac the Defiled's Barrows set in RuneScape 3. It goes in the headwear slot and needs level 70 Defence to wear. It is tier 70 tank armour made for the melee class.

This helm is a strong pick for tank builds. It gives 297 armour, a prayer bonus of 1, and damage reduction of 1.4% against monsters and 2.625% against players. It is the fifth strongest full helmet in the game.

Wearing the full Verac's set unlocks the Verac's Defilement bonus. Attacks then have a 20% chance to deal about 14% more damage. The set can also hit through Protect from Melee on certain monsters, like Akrisae the Doomed, the Kalphite Queen, and Tormented demons.

Verac's helm degrades over 100,000 charges of combat, but it works at full power the whole time. It can be repaired by NPCs like Bob in Lumbridge or with an armour stand in a player-owned house, which costs less at higher Smithing levels. The helm is tradeable when it is undamaged or fully broken.
