Description

The vial of water is a simple glass vial filled with water in RuneScape 3. It is the base ingredient for every potion in the Herblore skill. Add a clean herb to a vial of water and you get an unfinished potion. From there, you can mix in a second ingredient to finish the potion.

This item is tradeable and free to play. It is not stackable, but it can be noted, so it is easy to keep large amounts in your bank. It weighs only 0.02 kg.

Players who train Herblore need vials of water in bulk. Every potion starts with one, so a big supply saves you time. Filling vials by hand takes trips to a water source, and even fast spots like the Prifddinas water pool or the Lumbridge Castle sink still take steps and clicks. Members can use the Humidify spell to fill 28 vials at once, but that needs level 68 Magic and the Dream Mentor quest.

With a stock of vials of water ready to go, you can skip the filling and get straight to mixing potions and gaining Herblore levels.
