Buy RS3 Vital spark
Description
The vital spark is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. It holds the essence of life in a concentrated form. Players get vital sparks by pickpocketing Menaphos market guards, killing monsters in the Sophanem Slayer Dungeon, or defeating the bosses of the Sanctum of Rebirth and Amascut, the Devourer.
Vital sparks matter because 2,000 of them can be combined into one of three ability codices. The Limitless ability codex unlocks Limitless, which lets players use threshold abilities without reaching 50% adrenaline first. The Unsullied ability codex unlocks Unsullied, which keeps the corruption damage buff active and stops monsters from using the player's corruption status against them. The Golden Touch ability codex unlocks Golden Touch, which auto-alchs all drops under the player's lootbeam value.
Vital sparks are tradeable, stackable, and can be disassembled. The item icon changes based on how many sparks are held. When on a slayer task for corrupted creatures or soul devourers, these monsters drop two sparks at a time. Vital sparks were added to the game on 5 June 2017 and are a key item for players who want to unlock some of the most useful abilities in RS3.
