Buy RS3 Vorkath's spike

Description

Vorkath's spike is an item in RuneScape 3. It drops from the Zemouregal and Vorkath boss fight. Players use these spikes to upgrade undead dragonhide armour into dracolich armour, which is tier 90 armour.

To make a piece, you use spikes with a needle and thread. You need level 90 in the right skill. Each piece needs a set number of spikes. Dracolich boots need 9 spikes. Dracolich vambraces need 9 spikes. The dracolich coif needs 18 spikes. Dracolich chaps need 27 spikes. The dracolich hauberk needs 36 spikes. A full set of dracolich armour takes 99 spikes in total. Each craft also gives crafting experience, from 204 up to 612 per piece.

Vorkath's spikes are stackable and tradeable, so they are easy to store and move. Getting them from the boss takes time. Normal mode drops 4 to 7 spikes at a 1 in 45 rate. Hard mode drops 6 to 9 spikes at a 1 in 15 rate. Buying spikes lets you skip the grind and upgrade your armour right away. This is a strong pick for players who want tier 90 ranged gear fast.
