Buy RS3 White oak
White oak is an Archaeology material in RuneScape 3. It is used to restore damaged artefacts at the Archaeologist's workbench. Players need it for many restorations, from weapons and shields to paintings, tapestries, and musical instruments. These restorations span Archaeology levels 17 through 118.
This material comes from white oak trees, which were once common in the Third Age. The trees were cut down almost to extinction for the colour of their wood. Today, players can dig up white oak from material caches at the Ice Mountain excavation site, west of Edgeville. Excavating it requires level 17 Archaeology and a mattock. There is no membership requirement for these caches.
White oak is tradeable and can be stored in the material storage container, so it does not take up bank space. It can also be disassembled for parts like Simple parts, Historic components, Classic components, and Living components.
Buying white oak saves time on digging. With a good supply, players can restore artefacts right away and keep training Archaeology without stopping to gather materials.
