Description

Winterwold wool is a members-only textile fibre in RuneScape 3. It comes from the blue winterwold sheep raised in the medium pen at the player-owned farm. Players gather it as produce from a winterwold ewe or ram. Golden ewes and rams can drop it too.

This wool has several uses. At level 54 Herblore, players mix it with a wergali potion (unfinished) to make a runecrafting potion. This gives 122.5 Herblore experience. At level 91 Crafting, it helps create elite sirenic repair patches, which repair elite sirenic armour. At level 110 Crafting, players can spin it at a spinning wheel with fallfaced, springsheared, and summerdown wool to make masterwork thread for 10 experience. It can also be ensouled at a Tier 2 ritual site at level 60 for 1,480 experience.

Winterwold wool is tradeable, noteable, and light at 0.02 kg. It can be disassembled, giving simple parts most of the time and variable components on rare occasions. Players who train Herblore, craft high-level gear, or work on masterwork items will find this wool very useful to have in their bank.
